The software Propalms has developed allows the relevant programmes and information to be accessed from anywhere; turning smartphones, iPads and laptops in to viable business tools without compromising the security of the client’s data, which is stored remotely rather than in the device itself.
In order to help expand the business, Propalms engaged SCY to help them tap into the wealth of talent provided by York’s higher and further education institutions.
The relationships that SCY helped to broker between Propalms and York’s two universities has led to Propalms employing two graduates on a full time basis.
Thanks to SCY's help and advice the company also made an impact on Venturefest Yorkshire 2011. Propalms was crowned the winner of the Investment Competition and walked away with the day’s biggest prize of a business growth and support package worth £33,000.
