The World Famous Wall Art Rockers Exhibit for a Digital Generation
The World Famous Wall Art Rockers, sister company of Inchpunch Design & Communication, are very proud to announce their first exhibition of 2012 at the trendy Café 164, Leeds (near West Yorkshire Playhouse). The Wall Art Rockers are inspired by a passion for technology, sci fi, video games, anime and digital art, and have developed a unique range of hyper contemporary wall art that dares to be different! This is Wall Art for a digital generation.
The Exhibition runs throughout January and features five stunning pieces of work all of which are printed onto a series of huge 675 x 1400mm (8mm thick) “high gloss” acrylic panels. This cutting edge display method makes the art look like enormous wall mounted wide screen computer monitors!
The purpose of the exhibition is to enable art lovers to appreciate how unique and eye catching the Wall Art Rockers really are when experienced in person. The ultra-modern pieces blend art and technology seamlessly. Being a new business venture still in their fledgling year "WAR", as they are sometimes described, would love to reach as many people as possible, now is the time! They are excited that their work will be viewed by a new market and not just their on-line followers.
The company was founded in May 2011 and has teamed up with some of the worlds most talented creatives which includes artists from Sweden, Russia, Argentina, Japan, Germany, USA, UK and France. One artistic collaboration involved the software giants EA/Valve and Pro Gaming peripheral manufacturer Steel Series to produce a wall art based on the critically acclaimed video game "Portal 2".
"We are definitely daring to be different," says Craig. "The pieces of art are huge and a real talking point for people who like something a bit distinctive and über cool." The acrylic panels are high-gloss and have a real shine and the work is mounted with aluminium wall studs, which makes it stand away from the wall by 3cm and creates "great reflections and shadows".
He adds that there is a real wow factor to the pieces: "There’s nothing else like this about".
The online collection features nearly 50 individual pieces all of which are showcased on their website www.wallartrockers.com and retail for just £199.99 with free UK delivery.
